In 2009 the safety, health and wellbeing team I lead at Leeds Metropolitan University developed a wellbeing excellence programme incorporating a wide range of initiatives and activities targeted at staff and student wellbeing. The programme has pioneered a pan-university approach to wellbeing, linking wellbeing–related expertise across academic and practitioner functions with support functions such as web and multimedia, and human resources.
The cornerstone of the excellence programme is a new wellbeing website designed as a self-help resource for our staff and students.
